Safety information on so-called 'conditional' MRI compatibility

Non-clinical tests have shown that our implants are compatible with MRI examination under
certain conditions.

Patients with a Move-Up shoulder prosthesis can
undergo a magnetic resonance examination safely
in a device meeting the following conditions:

- Static magnetic field of 1.5 Tesla (1.5 T) or 3.0 Tesla (3.0 T),
- Maximum spatial gradient field equal to 1,900 gauss/cm (19 T/m),
- Maximum specific absorption rate (SAR) demonstrated for the
whole body less than 2.0 W/kg for 1.5 T and 3.0 T in
normal operating mode.

Under the examination conditions stated above, the implant shows an increase in
temperature of 10.8°C maximum after 15 minutes of continuous magnetic resonance examination.
